Running
The Dive BVI fourth annual run/walk series starts on Saturday on Virgin Gorda. All races begin at the H. Lavity Stoutt Community College (VG) parking lot. Runners will turn around at Guavaberry villas and head back to the start/finish line. Registration starts at 6 a.m. with the race beginning at 6:30 a.m. There will be prizes for speed, consistency and improvement at the end of the series. The VG running schedule is as follows:

Volleyball
The British Virgin Islands Amateur Volleyball Association’s Power League is slated to start on Feb. 2 at the Multi-Purpose Sports Complex at 5 p.m. Teams are asked to be at the complex at 4 p.m. in full uniforms for the march past. Rugby
The Virgin Islands will compete in the NACRA Caribbean Championships in St. Lucia on Jan. 26. Victory in St. Lucia would see Curacao visiting Tortola for a match in February for the next round of the competition.
