Triple Jack, skippered by  Richard Wooldridge, won the Commodore’s Cup yacht regatta on Saturday.

Peter Haycraft skippered Pipe Dream to second place, while Reba skippered by Jon Charlton took third place.

In extremely variable conditions ranging from 5 knots to 25 knots during squalls, the fleet sailed a challenging course. Starting from Nanny Cay, the course included Great Harbour (Peter Island), Brandywine Bay, Dead Chest, Salt Island and a circumnavigation of Cooper Island, before finishing in Road Harbour.

With such a varied course there were plenty of opportunities to fly spinnakers, as well as some tough upwind legs on the south side of Dead Chest and Salt Island.

The next race will be the Latitude 18 Halyard Challenge on January 14th.
