Thirteen speakers from around the region will take the stage at the Women’s Empowerment Summit Saturday at the H. Lavity Stoutt Community College.

In the morning session, Virgin Islands lawyer Tana’ania Small-Davies will interview Cecile de Jongh, the wife of United States Virgin Islands Governor John de Jongh Jr.

Other speakers will include Laura Malamud, a “social media expert;” Teshina Pettiford, a “financial guru;” and motivational speaker Cherrylee Pinder, according to a press release from organisers.

VI lawyer Marie-Lou Creque will host the event, which also is to include giveaways, entertainment and awards.
