This weekend the Virgin Gorda Community Football League will host a “Festival of Football” at the Virgin Gorda Recreation Grounds.
The event will feature several matches, including two games between Willful Skillful, of St. Kitts, and the Virgin Islands. In the first match, the BVI Senior Men’s team will face the visiting St. Kitts team at 8 p.m.
On Sunday, the VG All Stars will face Willful Skillful.
The VG All Stars include Jumaane Morton, Timon Robinson, Clint St. Hilaire, Jackson Rigobert, Allon Williams, Mcgraw Baptiste, Derrol Redhead, Mervin Dainty, Terrance Nanton, Charles Fredrick, Andres Bailey, Thomas Albert, Leonardo Davis, Donald Morton, Kemrom Tillack, Akim Hendrickson, Kendell Reynold, Daniel Gilford, Rolland Roberts, Seth Daniel, Rushedo Robinson and Joshua Ramprashad. The team is coached by Wendel Nickels and Jeffrey Demmings.
There will be food and drinks on sale and there is a $5 entrance fee.
On Sunday, there will be a fashion show starting at 6 p.m.
