The Virgin Islands Party has released a schedule of its upcoming political launch parties and other events.

 

A “Team VIP” campaign launch kicks off the list of rallies Saturday at the Road Town Band Stand, followed by five straight days of district launch parties: Fifth District candidate Zoe Walcott-McMillian on Sunday at 5 p.m. at the Fahie Hill Watch Tower, Seventh District candidate Oleanvine Pickering-Maynard on Monday at 7:30 p.m. at the Sticket in Long Look, Eighth District candidate McLloyd Walters on Tuesday at 7:30 p.m. at Parham Town, Sixth District Candidate Elvis Harrigan on Wednesday at 7:30 p.m. the Beach Club Park in Purcell Estate, and Fourth District candidate JoAnn Romney on Thursday at 7:30 p.m. at the Road Town Band Stand.

After a one-day break, campaigning will resume on May 23 with VIP Chairman Julian Fraser holding his Third District launch party on May 23 at 7 p.m. at the Valerie O. Thomas Community Centre.

Second District hopeful Rajah Smith will hold his launch party on May 26 at 7 p.m. in Cane Garden Bay Park, and First District incumbent Andrew Fahie will hold his on June 1 at 7 p.m. at the Capoons Bay Recreational Grounds.

Elton “Allout” Sprauve officially launched his campaign on May 11 in Virgin Gorda, and will also speak on May 25 at 6:30 p.m. in North Sound, VG, and on May 27 at 6:30 p.m. in Anegada.

Other events scheduled include a “VIP Manifesto & Women Rally” on May 30 at 7 p.m., as well as a youth rally on June 6 and a Virgin Gorda motorcade on June 7 – times are not listed for the latter two events.
