Two females have been charged in connection with a series of burglaries this month, said Police Information Officer Diane Drayton.

Police charged Liliana Baltimore, 22, a Dominican Republic native residing in Sea Cows Bay, and a 14-year old with burglary, but Ms. Drayton said police are still looking for others involved in the crimes.

Establishments burglarised this month include two eateries on Main Street on Tuesday, as well as a law firm and a children’s clothing store in Road Town; multiple businesses in Trellis Bay; and a supermarket in West Bay, according to Ms. Drayton, who didn’t provide further details about the crimes.

Police didn’t say which businesses the young women are suspected of burglarising.

The Royal Virgin Islands Police Force is offering a monetary reward to any member of the public who comes forward with information that helps identify the perpetrators, Ms. Drayton said.

Anyone with information can contact the Criminal Investigations Department through the police access number 311, or call Crime Stoppers anonymously in Miami at 800-8477.
