The company didn’t go into detail about the agreement, but stated that “travellers in the region can now plan their business or leisure travel needs over the flights of both airlines.” InterCaribbean serves 17 cities throughout nine Caribbean countries, while Cubana services 27 cities throughout the Caribbean, Central America, North America, South America, and Europe.

Government has extended the deadlines for the Common Reporting Standard notification and reporting obligations to June 30. Reporting financial institutions now have until then to register with the BVI International Tax Authority on the ITA’s reporting portal, BVI FARS. If the June 30 deadline is missed, institutions could be subject to compliance measures or penalties.
