Stewardess Posting: Term Charter sailing yacht is seeking a Stewardess for permanent long-term employment. Yacht will be operating on a full time yearly basis throughout the Caribbean including trips to islands as far south as St. Vincent and The Grenadines. Qualifications include at least five years of experience in the hospitality industry with specific experience managing a bar and mixing custom drinks for demanding charter guests. Position includes responsibility for table service meal, decoration and preparation for special guest events like birthdays and anniversaries, and dishwashing. Stewardess is also responsible for cleaning and restocking of guest cabins while on charter and preparation and maintenance of guest areas during charter preparations. Also required is STCW Basic Safety for yacht crew and radio certification. Qualified candidates will have a passport and be able to travel and work in USVI and Puerto Rico waters as well as having the ability to travel unrestricted throughout the Caribbean for as long as two months away from BVI waters. Captain Posting: Term Charter sailing yacht is seeking a Captain for permanent long-term employment. Yacht will be operating on a full time yearly basis throughout the Caribbean including trips to islands as far south as St. Vincent and The Grenadines. Qualifications include at least 10 years of experience running a sailing or motor vessel over 35 feet with a current USCG 50-ton Master Coastal, BVI BoatMaster 2 or higher, or an equivalent qualification along with a sailing endorsement where required and the necessary STCW Certifications – Basic Safety for Yacht Crew, and the new IMO required Management and Leadership course for international yacht crew. Also required is a radio certification from an appropriate government agency. Qualified candidates will have a valid passport and be authorized to travel and work in USVI and Puerto Rico waters as well as having the ability to travel unrestricted throughout the Caribbean for as long as two months away from BVI waters.
