The Royal Virgin Islands Police Force is asking the public for assistance in regard to the disappearance of Clinton Hodge, a Road Town man who went missing about a year ago.

Mr. Hodge, a retired government employee known to friends as “Tug,” was last in contact with a friend on Sept. 26, 2011, and friends and family members have not seen or spoken to him since, according to a police press release.

“He lived [on] Main Street and was known to occasionally drink in local bars,” the release said.

On Aug. 17, 2011 Mr. Hodge married Fianmy Ulloa Marquez at the Registrar General’s Office in Road Town, according to police. He was first reported missing months later, in December 2011, the press release said.

Anyone with information about Mr. Hodge’s whereabouts is encouraged to notify police by calling the non-emergency number 311, the Specialist Investigations Unit at 468-2718, or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-8477. All calls will be treated in the strictest confidence, police said.
