Residents are being urged to learn their HIV status by participating in confidential tests offered for free during Regional HIV Testing Day tomorrow.

For the initiative, the National AIDS Programme is partnering with businesses and non-governmental agencies to offer the tests, along with pre- and post-test counselling.

Testing sites will be located at Scotiabank in Road Town and in The Valley, Virgin Gorda; at the Anegada Clinic in The Settlement; and at the Jost Van Dyke Clinic.

The programme also offers HIV testing and counselling services to churches and businesses.

For that purpose, testing sites will be established from 1-3 p.m. on Tuesday at Rite Way Food Market and Road Town Wholesale.

Other organisations interested in providing their members with free confidential HIV testing on-site are invited to call the NAP at 468-5146, 468-4371 or 468-9785 or e-mail kjeffers@gov.vg or nclarke@gov.vg.
