A man was shot around 10 p.m. Friday near the Parham Town General Supply Store, but his injuries are not believed to be life-threatening, police said Saturday morning.
The man was seated in his parked vehicle when he was approached by a lone masked assailant and shot, according to the Police Information Office.
Also in the car were a female passenger in the front seat and a 2-year-old in the back seat, police said.
They are asking anyone with information regarding the incident to call the Royal Virgin Islands Police Force Investigation Unit at 368-9339.
