A male was shot in both legs early Friday morning, when shots were fired near the Long Bush basketball court, police said today.
A bullet entered one of the victim’s thighs, then exited and entered the other thigh at about 1 a.m. Friday, according to a press release from Police Information Officer Diane Drayton. The victim was taken to Peebles Hospital, where he was treated and released, by an unknown male on a scooter, according to the release.
Police are seeking the scooter rider, who may be able to provide information about the shooting.
