The celebrity owner of the New York cooking school Sex on the Table is to take part in this year’s Restaurant Week, officials said this week during a launching ceremony for the series of events scheduled for Nov. 22 to Dec. 1.

During a “celebrity dinner,” the Switzerland-born Chef Fed will be assisted by Ariq Flax-Clarke, the territory’s Junior Chef Challenge Winner, they added.

During the week, two Taste of the BVI fairs will offer free samples from participating restaurants on Nov. 22 on Tortola and Nov. 23 on Virgin Gorda.

The week is designed in part to give residents and visitors the opportunity to sample the territory’s restaurants at affordable rates, officials said.

The dates of the territory’s first Anegada Lobster Festival were also announced: Nov. 30 through Dec. 1.
