The Water and Sewerage Department advised customers in the Long Bay, Tortola, area on Friday that they would have no public water supply until further notice.
This problem is due to construction work being carried out by the Public Works Department in the area opposite the Sunset House in Long Bay, according to a WSD press release.
The department is asking customers to use alternate sources of water during this time.
The WSD apologised for the shortage, which is the latest of several on Tortola in recent weeks.
