A shooting took place on Virgin Gorda on Tuesday afternoon, Police Information Officer Diane Drayton reported in a four-sentence press release that provided few details.
A man, who police did not identify, was taken to the hospital. Ms. Drayton said on Tuesday evening that his current condition was unknown.
The information officer did not say where the shooting took place, or provide any other details about the shooting.
