Kiddies Fiesta: The Rotary Club of Road Town will host its annual Kiddies Fiesta at the H. Lavity Stoutt Community College from 10 a.m.-6 p.m. There will be games and activities for children, including face painting, lime and spoon races, and more.

Beach: The BVI Rugby Football Union will host the Olympic Celebration at Little Bay next to Lambert Bay. There will be food, music and entertainment from noon until 6 p.m.

Summer Splash: Jamaican reggae singer Romain Virgo, Trinidad and Tobago soca artist Olatunji, and Virgin Islands performer NJAR will take the stage at Unique Blendz’ Summer Splash on Prickly Pear from 11 a.m. A ferry departs Trellis Bay at 11 a.m. and returns at 3:30 p.m. Tickets cost $50.

Soca: The Soca Monarch Competition will be held at the Festival Grounds from 7:30 p.m. Competitors will include singers from Trinidad and Tobago, St. Vincent and the Grenadines, St. Maarten, Antigua and Barbuda, and the Virgin Islands. Tickets cost $20.

Sunday

Brunch: Myett’s Garden & Grill in Cane Garden Bay hosts brunch every Sunday from 10 a.m. Call 495-9649.

Brunch: The Reef Restaurant at Fischers Cove on Virgin Gorda offers brunch from 11 a.m.-2 p.m. There will be live piano by Derry Etkins. Call 495-5252.

Prince and Princess: Five girls and five boys will compete for the title of BVI Prince and Princess on Sunday at the Sir Rupert Briercliffe Hall from 3 p.m. The pageant is one of several activities leading up to the August Emancipation Festival, which kicks off on Monday.

Karaoke: Aromas Cigar & Martini Bar at the Tortola Pier Park will host karaoke tonight from 6 p.m. There will be specials on beers all night and gift certificates for outstanding singers.

Gospel Fest: The Virgin Islands Heritage Month Committee will host Gospel Fest from around 7 p.m. at the Festival Village Grounds. Performers include Dylan Penn, Kaylinda Richardson, and Gabriella Hoyte. Bau Bau Gene Maduro and Ernest “Popeye” Scatliffe will be honoured at the concert.

Festival: Contra Band, Sisa, Kylo and Stylee Band and VIBE will perform at the Rita Francis Festiville from around 7:30 p.m. Vendors will be selling food and drinks.
