Flowers: The National Parks Trust will host a Flower and Garden Festival at the J.R. O’Neal Botanic Gardens from 9:30 a.m.-5:30 p.m. There will be floral exhibits, horticulture demonstrations, cultural dances, poetry and other activities. Tickets cost $5.

Pathfinders: The BVI Seventh-day Adventist Church will host the 40th annual Pathfinder Congressoree this weekend. There will be an opening ceremony at the Multi-purpose Sports Complex from 7 p.m. today.

Run/walk: Sensus Health Club will host its annual Colour Me Pink 5k run/walk from 3 p.m. beginning at Manuel Reef. There will be a bra-decorating competition before the race begins. Call 494-0300.

Performance: CADA Players will host Tattle Tales, a performance that includes life-size puppets, today and tomorrow at the Crystal Ballroom at U.P.’s Cineplex. Today, the show begins at 4 p.m. and again at 8 p.m. On Sunday, it starts at 6 p.m., and there will be a special showing for young children at 3 p.m. Tickets cost $20 for children and seniors, $30 for adults, and $40 for VIPs. Proceeds will be donated to Green VI.

Puerto Rico: Charlie Sepulveda will perform at the Luquillo Beach Jazz Fest in San Juan, Puerto Rico. The event begins at 7 p.m.

The Leverick Bay Poker Run takes place on Sunday. Boaters gather at Leverick Bay Marina in North Sound, Virgin Gorda, at around 7 a.m. for registration. The event officially begins at 10 a.m., and stops include Harbour View Marina in East End, Scaramouche Restaurant in West End, Pirates Bight on Norman Island, and Rendezvous Bar on Virgin Gorda. The event, which is not a race, finishes at Leverick Bay Marina. Call 495-7421.
