United States and Caribbean performers will take the stage this weekend during Jazz on the Hill at St. Mary’s School on Virgin Gorda.
Excitement for the annual event has been building, according to Principal Laura Fox, an organiser.
This year’s performers include the Ryan Diehl Jazz Trio from the United States; Elan Parle from Trinidad and Tobago; Virgin Islander Jeremy Vanterpool; the Elmore Stoutt High School Jazz Band; and the St. Mary’s Choir.
The shows start at 7:30 p.m. tomorrow at the Catholic Community Centre and at 6:30 p.m. on Saturday at the St. Mary’s School grounds.
The concert, which is the school’s biggest fundraiser, has grown since it began seven years ago, the principal said, adding that preparations are going well.
