A man was injured in a shooting after 9 p.m. on Aug. 9 in Cappoons Bay, according to a brief WhatsApp message issued the next day by Police Information Officer Akia Thomas.
At the time of the message, the man was in stable condition and receiving medical treatment while police investigations were ongoing, Ms. Thomas wrote.
No other information was provided, and Ms. Thomas did not respond to multiple requests for an update this week.
