Miss BVI Sheroma Hodge has undertaken a speaking tour in primary schools and other establishments around the territory as she prepares to enter two international pageants later this year.

The tours started on May 31 at Joyce Samuel Primary School and continued on to Enid Scatliffe and Francis Lettsome primary schools and the Youth Empowerment Programme, according to a press release from the BVI Tourist Board.

Ms. Hodge also visited the Adina Donovan Home for the Elderly, where she learned about the facility and spoke with the residents.

Ms. Hodge plans to compete in the Jaycees Caribbean Queen Show in Antigua on July 27 and 29 and in the Miss Universe pageant in Brazil on Sept. 12, according to the BVITB.
