They were launching a fashion show held in observance of Breast Cancer Awareness Month.

“We wanted a flash mob, but unfortunately we didn’t get persons from before, so I decided to start getting people that were walking on the street dressed in pink or purple to do it,” said Gloria Fahie, president of the BVI Cancer Society. “And I did: People were willing to do it, and we had fun dancing to the song.”

Most drivers didn’t appear bothered by the brief delay, and even after traffic started moving again many of them slowed down to catch a glimpse of the fashion show.
