Entrepreneur: eCamps BVI will host a “Kidpreneur” session from 5 p.m. at the Save the Seed Energy Centre. There will be presentations from two children who own their own businesses. Tickets cost $10.

 

Chair-ity: Start work now on building a chair for Green VI and Nutmeg Design’s annual Chair-ity Exhibit and Auction. Adult and corporate entries must be brought to Government House between 11 a.m. and 2 p.m. on Nov. 6, youth entries to the Lower Estate Sugar Works Museum between 10 a.m. and 3 p.m. on Nov. 2-3.

Party: DJ Taz will be behind the turntable at Pearla Bar’s Ultimate Thursday party from 10 p.m. Shots will be offered at discounted prices, and entry is free.

Exercise: Mitch Gordon of Body Images Gym hosts Socarobics, a dance/workout session, at the gym from 5:30 p.m.

Business: The Department of Youth Affairs and Sports will host a Youth in Business Expo at the Noel Lloyd Positive Action Movement Park from noon until 6 p.m. There will be locally made products on sale and giveaways.

Health fair: The BVI Cancer Society will host a health fair at Scotiabank from 10 a.m. Free breast exams will be offered.

Fashion: Government’s Human Resources Department will host the Employee Assistance Programme Fashion Show at UMI Fashions from 4:30 p.m.

Music: Evolution Band will perform live at Myett’s Garden and Grill tonight. There will be specials on drinks all night.

Party: Guns & Chicken will host Ah Milli Fridaze from 10 p.m. DJ Ah Milli Sounds will be behind the turntable.

Party: Matcha’s at Fort Hill will host Free Up Friday from 6 p.m. There will be free wings, drink specials and prize giveaways.

Quiz night: It’s Quiz Night at the Tamarind Club in Josiahs Bay from 7 p.m.

Saturday

Running: The HLSCC College Classic Series will host the End Polio Race at the college from 7 a.m.

Walk: FirstCaribbean Bank and the BVI Cancer Society will host Walk for a Cure at 5 a.m. from the Noel Lloyd Positive Action Movement Park to Kingstown and back. Proceeds will go to the BVI Cancer Society. Call 852-9932.

Walk: The Saturday Morning Walkers will meet at 5:15 a.m. at One Mart, then walk to the Road Town roundabout, up the hill to McNamara, down along Paul Wattley Road, and back to One Mart. More details on their routes are posted on the Facebook page “We Walk.”

Pool party: Navanchor Concierge will host the Black Swan Pool Party at Yacht Club Costa Smeralda on Virgin Gorda from 4 p.m. Wear black, with feathers. The ferry leaves Trellis Bay at 3 p.m.

Culture: The Rotaract Club of Tortola will host an International Cultural Extravaganza at 7 p.m. There will be food and drinks on sale at the event, which takes place at the Long Trench Community Centre.

Party: Rock Café on Virgin Gorda will host the Libra Invasion Party from 10 p.m. Tickets cost $20. DJ Avalanche will be behind the turntable.

Party: The St. Vincent and the Grenadines BVI Association will host its seventh annual Vincy Independence Jam at Callaloo Prospect Reef from 10 p.m. Fireman Hooper will perform and deejays Taz and The Chosen 1 from SVG will perform. Tickets cost 20.

Party: Club Mingles at East End hosts Swag Saturday from 9 p.m. DJ Blakka will be behind the turntable. There will be specials on drinks all night.

Party: Myett’s Garden and Grill in Cane Garden Gay will host the Ultimate Sunset Party from 3-7 p.m. DJ Ah Milli Sounds will perform.

Quiz: Choose from two quiz nights, at Bamboushay Lounge and at Sharky’s, from 7 p.m.

Party: Fantasea Bar at Duffs Bottom hosts Wasted Wednesday from 8 p.m. There will be a guest deejay and complimentary fish soup.

Wine: Rock Café on Virgin Gorda hosts Wine Wednesday from 6 p.m.

Happy hour: Red Rock Restaurant and Bar at East End is opened for daily happy hour from 5 p.m.
