March: A march in observance of International Human Rights Day will start at 10 a.m. at the Governor’s Office and proceed to the Central Administration Building. Participants are encouraged to wear orange.

Christmas: Bregado Flax Educational Centre’s Primary Division will host The Nativity Musical at the Virgin Gorda Catholic Community Centre from 1 p.m. Tickets cost $5 for adults and $3 for children.

Music: Elmore Stoutt High School Rams Radio will host a deejay competition at the school tent from 1:30 p.m. Admission is free for students and $1 for adults.

Christmas: Christmas in Spanish Town won’t be held this year, but a two-day Christmas event tagged “Grandma’s Christmas” starts today at Grandma’s Kitchen on Virgin Gorda. The event starts at 10 a.m. each day and continues into the night.

Puerto Rico: The Society of Educational Arts will host “Dream,” a Caribbean version of Shakespeare’s Midsummer Night’s Dream, today at the El Morro Fort in Old San Juan. Call 787-792-8005.

Tapas: Island Roots Café on Main Street hosts Tapas Night each Friday from 5 p.m. Call 494-3751.

Party: Club Mingles will host Freaky Friday from 10 p.m. DJ Blakka will be behind the turntable.

Saturday

Walk: The Saturday Morning Walkers will meet at 5:15 a.m. More details on their routes are posted on the Facebook page “We Walk.”

Play date: U.P.’s Cineplex will host Sponge Bob Christmas production at 10 a.m. and again at 1 p.m. There will be games and activities for children as well as an opportunity to take photographs with Sponge Bob. Tickets cost $12 for adults and $10 for children. Call 443-2171.

Dance: The Tortola Dance Project will perform at Myett’s Garden and Grill in Cane Garden Bay at 8:30 p.m. Admission is free.

Party: The Royal Virgin Islands Police Force will host a dance at the Road Town Police Station from 8 p.m. DJ Push Pop will be behind the turntable. There will be prize giveaways.

Sunday

Brunch: Myett’s Garden and Grill in Cane Garden Bay hosts brunch every Sunday from 10 a.m.

Beach: Showtime Band and Shaw HP The Band will perform at Christmas on the Beach at Long Bay, Beef Island. There will be food and drinks on sale. Admission is free and the event begins at noon.

Fish fry: Team Kuga will host a fish fry at the Beach Club Terrace from noon. There will be domino games all day.

Beer pong: Paradise Club Sports Bar and Grille in Cane Garden Bay will host a beer pong tournament from 7 p.m. DJ Got Milk will be behind the turntable. Tickets cost $20 per team.

Karaoke: It’s Karaoke Night at The Rock Café on Virgin Gorda. Martino Mark hosts the event, which begins at 7 p.m.

Wings: Leverick Bay offers 10 wings for $10 during Wing Sundays.

Monday

Music: Candy Man will perform from 5 p.m. at Myett’s Garden and Grill’s Mexican Margarita Monday. There will be specials on margarita all night.

Wednesday

Business: Children’s business ideas will be on display at eCamps BVI’s Kidpreneur Expo from 1-3 p.m. at Maria’s by the Sea.

Ladies night: It’s Ladies Night tonight at Gunz & Chicken Bar in Huntums Ghut. There will be a deejay behind the turntable.

Quiz: Choose from two quiz nights, at Bamboushay Lounge and at Sharky’s, from 7 p.m.

Wine: Rock Café on Virgin Gorda hosts Wine Wednesday from 6 p.m.
