Games: The Alzheimer’s Association and other service groups will host a series of games to promote healthy brains from 4:30-7:30 p.m. at the Queen Elizabeth II Park. The event is being held here for the first time in observance of Brain Health Month.

Party: The East End/ Long Look Festival Committee will host a Festival Warm-up party from around 7:30 p.m. at the East End Festival Grounds. Cool Session Brass will perform. Tickets cost $20.

Saturday

Walk: The Saturday Morning Walkers will meet at 5:15 a.m. at Queen Elizabeth II Bridge at Beef Island, then walk past the airport to Minine’s Plant Shop and back to the bridge via Trellis Bay. More details on their routes are posted on the Facebook page “We Walk.”

Fun day: A party for kids will be held from 11 a.m.-5 p.m. at the Tortola Pier Park. There will be games, and food and drinks will be on sale.

Food: The New Testament Church of God International Worship Centre will host a Caribbean Night food event from 6 p.m. at the church in Baughers Bay. Tickets cost $10.

Talent show: The Department of Youth Affairs and Sports will host the finals for the Gen Y Factor talent showcase at the Eileene L. Parsons Auditorium from 7:30 p.m. Tickets cost $15 for adults and $10 for students.

Puerto Rico: The Fishermen’s Festival in Puerto Rico begins today and ends tomorrow at the Puerto Real Beach in Fajardo.
