Spring Regatta: The BVI Spring Regatta is getting under way, and the Annual Mount Gay Welcome Party will be held this evening at Nanny Cay. MJ Blues Band will perform until midnight.

Friday

Cigars: At the Tortola Pier Park, Aromas Cigar and Martini Bar BVI hosts Corporate Happy Hour from 5 p.m. There will be specials on drinks and cigars.

Spring Regatta: A Type of Toad will perform at the Regatta Village at Nanny Cay from 7 p.m.

Quiz night: It’s Quiz Night at The Tamarind Club in Josiahs Bay from 7 p.m.

Church: The Unveiling Ministry will host the Youth Explosion BVI Fellowship and Fun Night from 7 p.m. at the Save the Seed Energy Centre. There will be games and inspirational speeches. Admission is free.

Party: Myett’s Chill Zone at the Tortola Pier Park will host a TGIF Party from 7 p.m. DJ Bertrum will be behind the turntable, and there will be specials on drinks all night.

Party: Da Basement at U.P.’s Cineplex hosts Fantasy Friday from 10 p.m. Tickets cost $10.

Saturday

Walk: The Saturday Morning Walkers meet at 5:15 a.m. More details on their routes are posted on the Facebook page “We Walk.”

Food drive: Nagico Insurances will host a food drive at Rite Way Pasea and One Mart from 9 a.m.-1 p.m. Food collected will be donated to the Family Support Network.

Brunch: Tempo TV host Janeisha John, a former Miss United States Virgin Islands, will be the guest speaker at the Caribbean Posh Girl’s Power Brunch at Scrub Island. The event will be held from 11 a.m.-4 p.m., and tickets cost $75. E-mail jbrin@caribbeanposh.com.

Food: St. Paul’s Episcopal Church in Sea Cows Bay will host a Caribbean Taste event from 3 p.m. at the church premises. There will be music and food from nations around the region. Tickets cost  $15 for adults and $5 for children under 12.

Spring Regatta: The Trefle Swimwear Show will be held from 5:30-6:30 p.m. at the pool at Nanny Cay. Later, the Elmtones will perform from around 7 p.m. in the Regatta Village.

Party: Selecta Deen from St. Kitts and Nevis will be behind the turntable at Da Basement, at U.P.’s Cineplex’s All Black Everything Bash Party from 10 p.m. Tickets cost $10.

Sunday

Spring Regatta: The Spring Regatta Awards Ceremony will be held from 5:30 p.m. Afterwards there will be fireworks, and Chef Al and the Hot Sauce Band will perform.

Church: The Bellevue Seventh-day Adventist Church will host a Gospel Expo today through April 23. There will be nightly meetings from 7 p.m. Evangelist Delroy Jennings will be among the featured speakers.

Karaoke: It’s Karaoke Night at The Rock Café on Virgin Gorda from 7 p.m.

Monday

Music: Michael Beans performs at Leverick Bay each Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday from 5-7 p.m. There will be specials on drinks.

Tapas: Safran at Frenchmans Cay hosts Tapas Night every Monday from 6 p.m. Call 494-8811.

Music: Candy Man will perform from 5 p.m. at Myett’s Garden and Grill’s Mexican Margarita Monday. There will be specials on margarita all night.

Music: Rock Café on Virgin Gorda offers live music daily from 6 p.m.

Tuesday
