More than 60 vehicles from around the Caribbean will compete for the first Anthony “Big Red” deCastro Memorial Trophy at the BVI Motorsports Association Easter Saturday Family Extravaganza at Virgin Gorda Yacht Harbour pasture on Saturday, organisers said.

The event is being held in honour of Mr. deCastro, the founder and former president of BMSA, who died last December following complications from surgery.

This year’s show will feature more than 30 vehicles from overseas and at least 30 from the VI, according to a press release issued by organisers.

The competition will include 140 categories, including best sound, best “raga,” best truck, best small jeep, and best SUV, the press release said.
