Food Fete: The BVI Tourist Board will host the launch of this year’s Food Fete during a cocktail event at the Callwood Rum Distillery from 5:30 p.m.

Saturday

Walk: The Saturday Morning Walkers will meet at 5:15 a.m. at the Enis Adams Primary School, then walk to the Sage Mountain car park and back. More details on their routes are posted on the Facebook page “We Walk.”

Cleanup: Bug Out, a non-profit organisation, will host a community cleanup from 7 a.m. starting at the Virgin Gorda campus of H. Lavity Stoutt Community College. The cleanup is aimed at reducing mosquito-breeding sites around the island.

Fundraiser: The Virgin Islands Archery Association will host a fundraiser at the Festival Village Grounds from 10 a.m.-4 p.m. Proceeds will be donated to the Virgin Islands Cancer Society. There will be archery, games, a bouncy castle, food and drinks.

Talk: TEDx Tortola will be held at H. Lavity Stoutt Community College from noon-5 p.m. Speakers include Thor Downing, Dalan Vanterpool, Nancy Woodfield-Pascoe and more. Call 440-3452 for ticket information.
